Trusted by working dog professionals and discerning families worldwide.

EuroHund dogs are bred and raised in the Czech Republic within a close, cooperative network of respected breeders, trainers and handlers whose experience spans generations of breeding, real-world work and high-level competition across multiple disciplines. EuroHund opens the door to this network and the dogs produced within it. The result is a German Shepherd capable of serious work while remaining stable, intelligent and deeply integrated in everyday family life.

Exclusive Representative of Vlci udoli

Vlci udoli is one of the Czech Republic's most respected working German Shepherd programs. EuroHund.com is the exclusive representative of Vlci udoli. The long-term relationship between Jitka Veselá and John Gargano was built through shared values, mutual trust and firsthand experience living and working with the dogs themselves.

Every breeding dog featured on this site is either from Vlci udoli or carefully selected for inclusion within the program. EuroHund opens the door to a close, cooperative network whose dogs rarely become available outside trusted circles.

Only EuroHund and Vlci udoli are authorized to place Vlci udoli dogs.

Who Has EuroHund Dogs and Why

Family Companion
EuroHund dogs live fully integrated in family life: calm at home, composed in public and deeply devoted to their people. They travel, visit schools, attend children’s events, take part in everyday family activities and settle naturally at the end of the day.
Family Protection
One spouse works nights. Older children are occasionally home alone. A single person living independently. A dog with genuine capability, stable temperament and clear judgment provides something no alarm system can: confidence, deterrence and peace of mind rooted in real-world reliability.
Anima Libera Canines
Some of our most meaningful placements have gone to people whose world had become smaller than it should have been through trauma, violence, abusive relationships or experiences that changed the way they moved through life. The right dog has a way of restoring confidence, providing genuine security and opening doors that once felt closed.
Sport & Working
EuroHund dogs are titled in IGP, ZVV, TART and more. Some bloodlines within the program have produced dogs that were both high-level sport competitors and real-world working K9s. For the serious handler, trainer or competitor, these bloodlines were developed not merely for titles, but for the demanding work and real-world qualities those titles were originally meant to evaluate.
Search & Rescue
One EuroHund dog is currently training for Urban Search and Rescue. Despite having no previous SAR training, she began making finds within her first four days alongside experienced handlers and certified dogs at a week-long working conference. Trainers there were highly impressed by her natural aptitude, adaptability and problem-solving ability.
Psychological Crisis Response
York was originally selected for high-speed European national police work. He ultimately chose a different path and we had an equally important job waiting for him. Today he works alongside a psychologist responding to mass casualty events and traumatic incidents, helping identify those most deeply affected and providing calm, stability and emotional support in the immediate aftermath. Their work focuses on helping reduce the intensity of the psychological trauma that often follows these events. York also works comfortably in schools, public settings and everyday family life — a reflection of the versatility and emotional intelligence these dogs are capable of.
